Can Bokedex turn barks into words?
No app can do that honestly. Bokedex sorts a bark into a broad kind (an alert, asking for you, asking for food or play) and shows how excited your dog sounds. When a clip doesn't fit one kind clearly, it says “Hard to tell” instead of guessing.
Does it work without an internet connection?
Yes. Bark, breed and mood reads, training and Calm to sounds all run on your iPhone. Home monitor is the exception: it uses iCloud to get barks from the phone at home to yours.
How does Home monitor work? Do I need two devices?
Yes. A spare iPhone or iPad stays near your dog and listens. You check the timeline on your own phone, signed in with the same Apple Account. Only dog sounds are kept, and everything is deleted after 7 days.
Is my dog's data uploaded anywhere?
No. There's no Bokedex server and no account. Photos, video and audio stay on your device. Home monitor syncs only through your own private iCloud, which we can't see.
Is Bokedex on Android?
Not yet. Bokedex needs an iPhone or iPad with iOS 17 or later.
Does it replace a vet or a trainer?
No. Results are hints to help you look closer. For pain, sudden changes, growling, snapping or panic when left alone, talk to your vet or a qualified trainer. The app points you there too.
How much does Premium cost?
Bokedex is free to download. Premium is $9.99 a year in the US and unlocks unlimited reads, every skill and Home monitor. The App Store shows your local price before you buy, and you can cancel anytime in Settings.
